AMALAR superholding will concentrate the assets and shareholdings of all companies owned by the Kellners, including PPF Group. Each family member’s shares will be gradually transferred to the new entity over the coming months. Renáta Kellnerová and her daughters Anna, Lara and Marie will serve on AMALAR´s Board of Directors.
A family advisory board has also been set up for the directors of the AMALAR board to consult on the management of the family’s assets and potential strategic investments. The members of the advisory board will be former Czech Prime Minister and governor of the Czech National Bank Jiří Rusnok, EY’s former senior partner Magdalena Souček, PPF Group CEO Jiří Šmejc, Yale University Professor of Surgery Bohdan Pomahač, and investor and transactions lawyer Tomáš Otruba. The AMALAR’s family advisory board will replace the Advisory Board to Family established in 2022.
“All members of the new advisory board are highly respected figures in their fields and have the full confidence of our family. Jiří Šmejc holds a special position on the advisory board and is entrusted with the care of our crown jewel, PPF Group. I appreciate where Jiří has taken PPF over the last year and a half,” says Renáta Kellnerová.
The family will also have access to a newly formed family council composed of renowned investment experts: Robert Ševela, Martin Vlček and Jan Tomaník. Robert Ševela transfers from PPF Group, where he has served as Investment Officer for almost 20 years. Martin Vlček has held senior management positions at PPF, O2 and CETIN. Investment manager Jan Tomaník also joins AMALAR from PPF Group.
Tomáš Brzobohatý, a lawyer and manager who worked for a long time at PPF in the past, will be special advisor to the family.
