This position is based in Prague headquarters and reports directly to the Head of Accounting &amp; Reporting.&nbsp;Responsibilities:<ul><li>Oversee the transaction processing of CME Services s.r.o. and the financial close processes for both statutory and group reporting. </li><li>Responsibility for two direct reports.</li><li>Maintain an effective control environment in Corporate Accounting and Reporting through risk identification, operating review and monitoring controls.</li><li>Maintain appropriate accounting records in line with Group and local fiscal/legal requirements.</li><li>Liaison with other departments including tax and legal to coordinate the financial statements and processes related to the corporate entities.</li><li>Primary point of contact for statutory auditors and group auditors for Corporate segment related procedures.</li><li>Responsible for the filing of certain CME entities' statutory financial statements, tax returns and national statistics.</li><li>Preparation of management recharge calculations.</li><li>Managing tasks connected with post-ERP implementation to fine-tune the system and processes.</li><li>Produce ad hoc reports and participate on ad hoc projects as required.</li><li>To provide assistance to the Group Head of Accounting and Reporting as required.</li></ul>&nbsp;Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment.</li><li>Experience with statutory reporting, financial close processes, and tax compliance.</li><li>Previous experience managing or mentoring a small team is a plus.</li><li>Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.</li><li>Proficiency in ERP systems (experience with post-implementation adjustments is an advantage).</li><li>Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with financial reporting tools is a plus.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders.</li><li>Fluency in English (both written and spoken).</li><li>Czech/Slovak language proficiency is an advantage.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.</li></ul>&nbsp;We offer:<ul><li>Medical care in a private medical clinic </li><li>Monthly meal voucher fee (“stravenkový paušál“)</li><li>Our own canteen directly in the building </li><li>5 weeks of vacation, 4 paid volunteering days</li><li>Onsite facilities to support your work-life balance (fitness, sauna, massages)</li><li>MultiSport card</li><li>Pension contribution</li><li>Pleasant and modern working environment</li><li>Regular company events to strengthen the team (team-buildings, new-release projections etc.)</li><li>Finally, an amazing opportunity to be part of something really big and futuristic!&nbsp;</li></ul>
